OK I love the action cam. It?s the reason I bought the game. Its something that we have wished for a long while. Although I?m getting used to playing the faster bowlers using action cam, Im still struggling playing against using this view against spinner. Its had to see exactly where the bow land when its is being pitched on the leg side near crease, or anything that is pitched closer
To your legs. Specially its hard for me to decide if I can even play sweep shot. Im now changing to broadcaster mode when I play spinners that?s way I can see exactly where its going to Pitch plus I can make better judgement of what shot I can play. I guess I need more practise.

How does everyone find playing spinners in action cam mode? Care to share some useful hints & tips?

Thanks.

I had the same issue during the 1st game with IC10, but I realized that i had to play a bit early. I settled with "Action Cam" as it is a bit more challenging.

I would play a bit early and use the power stick until the confidence level is high enough for big shots. I would also place it based on the field the AI sets, usually there are plenty of gaps.
Dancing down the track screws up your timing and judgement.

Cheers

i always time better with broadcast view for both spinners and fast bowlers whilst in Action Cam i tend to struggle a bit.

Correct me i am wrong, normally you decide to play the shot once the ball pitches inside the reticule???.

I feel the timming of shots in trainning is based on the ball pitching and play the shot bit late whilst in hard mode you cannot do the same.

That would be too late. Try playing the shot as soon as the bowler releases the ball and based on whether you played it early or late, fine tune the timing. As for the tutorials, I think it's based on Normal or Easy difficulty level.

I think they should have "Nets" or "Practice" mode where you can select the difficulty level and practice batting as a left or a right hander. You should have the option of selecting the batsman you want to practice as (for improving your batting skills it would be better to practice with a batsman with lower rating), type of bowler you want to practice against (e.g., Left hand fast, or maybe pick a bowler such as Mitchell Johnson) and also specify the type of deliveries you want to practice against (such as short pitched on off, yorker/full-pitched on middle, good length outside off etc.) This should be similar to EA Cricket 2007.

I completly agree with you.

But one thing to notice is Defence shot when i play using the technique i mentioned always displays as "Perfect" or "good" which is the reason why i used to play them late after the balls lands on the reticule.
