Some of you may have heard of fraps, its a great little program that records some game videos for you. Theres only 2 problems I am having.

1) Won't work on any video hosting sites I can find due to the massive file size.

2) I cant download any programs to shrink the file, I can only use online based services.

If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it. Oh, the files it makes are .avi i think. Windows video files.

If you want to shrink the file, you can convert it into 3gp format. It loses on quality Big time.

Try converting to mp4 for better quality, or reduce the frame size.

Go for the best, Autogk. When I want to store my dvds on my computer, this program does the 700mb rip at the same quality as a dvd.

I'm pretty sure it isn't illegal.

Black Magic added 2 Minutes and 53 Seconds later...

I am speaking from personal experience, I made my 800 mb video (it was the raw version from fraps that went on for 2 mins) into a 2-5 mb file. In autogk, it depends more on the length of the video that changes the size of the file, it seems to be able to compress very high resolution into videos

Nah its even better, Xvid is what it uses. Although it can do DivX as well. Although this is the best in business as far as I know

Yea its hard to use, but the best of the lot. Just look at the directions from the site it self. To post the files here, just upload it on youtube and post the embedded code here, while making sure it doesn't contain copyright material
