Poetry, i guess

I see
flowers blooming,
lovebirds chirping,
i feel
darkness lurking.
Rather than share in their spring
the long winter seems soothing,
for the road to summer
is long and tiring
and a dead end
crushing
yet calming

- Talha

Even in the darkest corners.
Or the brightest hallways.

On the quietest roads.
Or the loudest streets.

During the coldest nights.
Or the scorching days.

From schools to shrines,
There exists a rhyme.
About our passing time.

It's the fact that nothing lasts,
And this too shall pass.

Waqt ko thoda waqt do.
Acha ho ya bura, waqt ki yahi rangeen baat hai, ki ye waqt bhi guzar jaega.

Stay Strong Talha.

Bromther has had either a break-up or fallen in love ...
Neither.
It’s honestly a misconception that you need to be in either of those states to write poetry. Sure, any kind of art needs some inspiration, but that can come from anywhere, not just a breakup or falling in love.

Nazar aate hein mujh ko khilte gul aur chechaati bulbul,

Magar, mehsoos hoti hai javedaani tareeki ghaat lagaye,

Bahaar mein apna hissa daalne se behtar,

Hum hein lambi sardion ki shaame-e-sukuut se umeedein lagaye,

Keh raahein jaanib-e-roshan subh hein taweel-o-dushwaar,

Ikhtitaam paamaal hai,

Taaham hum baithe hein keh dil ko mustaqil sukuun ke laare lagaye

It's not really a translation, to be honest. It's an interpretation of those emotions in a more Urdu Poetry-compliant manner.

Anyways, it was an absolute honor interpreting this incredible piece in Urdu, the language closest to my heart and among the most poetic languages in the world.
