No, it isn't, which is why you can't.

Allowing people to edit polls would mean they could swap around the names of the things people voted for after they voted and self deletion of polls isn't possible because the setting that would let you do that would give you the ability to edit them.

Just report the thread that a poll is on and explain in the report how you would want the poll adjusted, or to have it removed to let you add your own new one.

I always think it's best to just leave your poll out there, unedited for all to see.

Maybe you can allow them to delete the polls in their threads and add new ones thats what i meant

To delete ones poll is an inherently personal decision... then you add something different in place of the poll, you're quite different to what you were before.
