Possible solution for edges

This is all good and well, but pointless if this is all cosmetic - As we all know swing and seam has very little chance of fooling the AI.

This is still up for debate I guess, I am still of the opinion that it can and does fool the AI.

i mostly play career mode.to my understanding the edges are random.it has nothing to do with line,length,timing or footwork.even with your full confidence,good timing and footwork you still get edges,whether you are batting on 1 or 200.

but AI batsman mostly immune to this in longer formats of the game.
in shorter formats they nick something here and there.
