Whenever I used to shut down Firefox and then turn it back on I was always logged into Planetcricket. However whenever I log into Planetcricket these days I have to re-log in which does get quite annoying. Why has this started to happen and how do I fix it?

Cheers

Well, there's one more problem. Many times when I visit the planetcricket bank, vbookie, or FC, I am automatically logged out and have to log in again. So can this be please looked into? :)

Even i get this but everyday. It is because of improper integration of portal with the forums. Matt should take a look at this.

Well, in firefox, go to tools, clear private data, Then uncheck everything else except cookies. Then press OK and cookies are cleared. :)

It doesn't solve my problem though.

Click on if you are using mozilla press ctrl+shft+del and clear everything:)

Actually it didn't work  Went to tools, I clicked, "Clear Private Data" and only had the Cookies box ticked and then pressed "Clear Private Data Now" but it didn't work, if I shut down Firefox and then turn it back on, I still have to re-log into all my websites

Sometimes this happens if you open a new window. If it is happening as Hooper said it is likely because of cookies. Make sure your privacy settings aren't too high and that you are accepting cookies.

Just make sure you use the forums via http://www.planetcricket.org/forums (or portal via http://www.planetcricket.org/)
Note the 'www' and the '.net'. The problem here is with the login cookie, it only works for the domain you login at, so if you start at http://planetcricket.org and a link takes you to a page with www infront of it, you won't be logged in (and vice versa, but we recommend you use the www one). It is like this for security reasons (and the majority of the sites on the Internet follow the same thing).
