Dont't you ppl feel that brazil has an easy entry to the Finals ?
They would beat France easily.
Then proceed onto play the winners of England/Portugal.

As someone has said,the winner of Arg-Ger will definately play on 9th July.

I think it would be Germany-Brazil once more.This time Germany getting the better of Brazil.

Knowone has an easy entry into the finals.They just haven't got an exceptionally hard one.Though if France get going i'd fancy them,and England or Portugal aren't duds!

Germany v Argentina 4PM BST:

Two heavyweights in football, set be a great game. The Germans are weak in the defence though, as shown conceding 2 agianst Costa Rica. They've grown in confidence though after hammering Ecuador and breezing through the Swedes. Ballack, Klose and Sweinsteiger will be vital., as will home advantage. As for Argentina, I don't think they could be more confident coming into the last 8 against the hosts. Came top of their group comfortably after a superb 6-0 hammering on S&B, with Cambiasso scoring a stunner. Weren't amazing against Mexico who played well, but Rodriguez sealed it with the goal of the tourament so far. Should be a cracker.

Btw that was Maxi Rodriguez who scored the winner against Mexico. Argentina have shown their weakness against fast combination play, where they conceded a goal to Ivory coast as well. That will be the key to disrupt the Argentinian system with some fast combinations.

I actually think the Mexican defence is better than the German one, so maybe the Argentines will find break before too long.

Germany won in penalty shootout .What a thriller . Thanks to Klose's goal in the 80th min and J.Lehmann did a fantastic job.

Lehman was brilliant I admit - favourites Argentina are out but I have to say that Brazil are now clear favourites after recent results.

ya thats the time when the match slipped from them also they were exhausted in 2nd half extra time .But why Sorin didn't take penalty shootout?

Germany played well, but Argentina were the better side until their coach made some really stupid substitutions. It was too early to go on the defensive.

Also shows how unfair the World Cup is, because if it was a league, then I am sure Argentina would finish in the top 4.

I thought I was the only one who was thinking about that. Riquelme got substituted since he didn't seem to make an impact, but I became upset when Crespo went off for Cruz.

What a match. From one side of the pitch to the other. The Argentinians started really well and combined good passes to pressurize the German defence but what a comeback to get the equalizer in the 80th minute by who other than Klose. Jens Lehmann is the undoubted no. 1 Keeper, what a brilliant performance in the shootout and he is the saviour.

I thought I was the only one who was thinking about that. Riquelme got substituted since he didn't seem to make an impact, but I became upset when Crespo went off for Cruz.

Definitely stupid changes to substitute Riquelme but still who cares.... , he wanted to safeguard the 1-0 lead which was as slender as it gets and he was forced to loose his Keeper so it all ended up Germany's way. :happy :happy
