1. Does anyone get varied movement off pitches other than green, e.g. move and inch to the right or moves 4 inches to the right

2.also how often can u get people bowled and how, cutters, yorkers, or movement off the eam, i only seem to bowl when theres movement off the seam

1 - on normal i only got the ball move in the first 5 overs after that nothing.

2 - i get wikets by bowled,lbw,caught and bowled, but mostly caught. i still havent got a stumpin yet
On green pitches i get edged, and bowled the main thing is which i know now is PACE give the batsmen a full picthed on off stump and then change the pace on the next ball but ball the same ball on off stump and ur garunteed he'll do sumthing stupid. i had Rao Iftikhar bowl gilchrist off stump by changing pace.

themuel1, Yes, I have something to ask you, I use Tutsi's patch beta version 7.4 and there is nothing wrong with the patch, the only thing is that when I bowl I get too expensive..like 12 runs in every over.... I play in hard mode.... Do you have any bowling tips for me????? Thank You!!!

yes also me but i dun like tutsi any more because its way to hard try cool game patch that is the best to bat and bolw more realistic

well i have a few questions of my own here and i am not starting a new thread here coz this thread's named in a generic manner....

1) How does one play a proper D/N onedayer? To start with it should be sunny, then it should change to sunset and then in the second innings it should change to night...well i tried to save mid-match and used savtweak to no avail...then i hexed the byte myself but still as soon as the game launches the sav the original weather settings are restored...any idea?

about getting people bowled...tutsi's 7.1a and b were great for that...afterwards he has edited it but in those patches you just had to pitch inline for the batter to leave the ball which crashed into the stumps...otherwise - seaming deliveries and yorkers are good for cleaning up the wickets but depends on confidence and other factors too...

seam can be achieved mostly on green wickets and in cloudy conditions - but the direction to me seems unpredictable...its like you move the marker to right in RH bowler to RH batter combo and the ball will move away from the batsman and in RH bowler to LH batter combo it will come in...though not sure of this...

On Normal pitches it seams in the first 2-3 overs(random-original config.) and With Boss's patch it seams in the first over on all pitches(not sure, random seam) if you pitch it up.
For wickets I have gotten all types, especially run-outs It is easy, as sohail said, to get wickets if you can bowl the same delivery over and over again and vary the pace. As for stumpings- I get it mainly in the slog or with tailenders.

All i do is change pace on balls and length occasionally, trouble is iget a lot of early edges and normally wrap up test match innings in 30 overs, which is unrealistic, though idon't seem to get many lbw or bowled

Which patch do you use becuase i can't bowl anyone with yorkers. they just seem to leg glance them

I hardly get seam movement on other than green pitches..however there may be a bit of swing here or there.

Dont often get wickets bowled but I have gotten a few by bowling very short slower balls pitched at about legstump(with LFM bowler) the batsmen (mostly RHB play back and over the deliveries only to have their stumps disturbed. LHB some times get LBW ...(this is in the long form of the game.)

Its harder to bowl batsmen in limited overs ....but you can by bowling leg stump yorkers.....atleast thats how I get a few bowls ...

After testing i have found yorkers are easy to get through in odi.( at least angainst canada and bangladesh) All you have to do is aim it at middle and leg stump and make sure u hit the sweet spot on the meter. Many of these will go through.

I think in the manual towards the end, there is a lot of useful info re. the swing.
It refers to pitch type and ball conditions and how much swing/seam/spin you'll get.
Pretty interesting read.

I've gotten some out on yorkers.( saved the replay via a camcorder
and some pretty good swings/seams which I've recorded too. I'll try to upload them when I get home.

ok this seems to be against lower sides such as bangladesh, you can get the openers out through yorkers. it's using ravi's patch. It does not work against austrailia very often and seems to reflect the batsmans ability which is good.

I can get people bowled with medium pacers, but this is only becuase the ball swings, i can't bowl out using medium fast or fast if there is no movement.

Yes. come to think of it, I very very rarely get Australia or South Africa out this way. Mostly WestIndies or England or other lower sides. This is good.
Also, I try to consistently bowl yorkers all balls in the over. Simply vary the pace. And they eventually mi**** and get out.
Its not like bowling just one yorker in the over gets them out. Its a matter of patience . Some they smack around.
But sometimes I seem to discover like a pitch spot where the ball seams a lot. I try to get it there as often as I can.
