Dravid the wall - Unshakable unmovable - Bhagwan isko jaldi out karo (get him out soon).

:mad

He IS the best number 3 batsmen ever for India 39.56 average in 337 matches with over 10k runs, he has the lions share in all success stories of India.

India chasing stumble with 54 runs short, where Dravid's 76 came at a crucial time, his partnership with Raina feared the opposition.

He was left out from the ODI side for years, and his comeback is surely much to have him in the 3rd position till time he play cricket.!

Rise of Youngsters set Rahul back. Good thing that the youngsters performed well, but people's mind-sets were so set to Seeing new players that they see cricketers like Sachin, Dravid, Laxman 'old', despite their invaluable efforts.

I guess no one has the right to doubt or question his abilities. He's one of the greatest players india has ever produced.

Indian public is too fickle to understand just how valuable he is.

Even if 9 RPO is required i would trust him till the very last ball, who cares about technique when runs are more than balls, go the Dhoni style !

What people don't realize that he has shown multiple times in the past his prowess in smashing the opposition around.

He's the greatest finisher we've had, maybe barring Yuvi.

I'm not sure how Dravid is forgotten, he seems to have legend status sewn up.

Dravid is displaying his value to the team very emphatically. Ideally if Sachin can play till whenever he likes, Dravid should be let to play too. Technically, Dravid and Sachin are on par. We cant chose between the two coz its very tough. Dravid is past that horror period and his recent run of good scores in both tests and ODI's have proved that class is permanent.

Dravid is really a quality batsman no doubt, but when he was dropped in Aus series, 09-08 his performance was really really poor, he has the best technique...

Indian public is too fickle to understand just how valuable he is.

Quoted for TRUTH.

Dravid, imo, is the 2nd greatest batsmen India has produced after Sachin Tendulkar. I was just so amazed at how he was holding the innings together vs Pakistan. Others got out, but whatever good delivery they threw at Dravid, it was stalled.

Also, he is "Not Forgotten" by any means..he won't ever be forgotten.

His qualities as a batsman are very much underrated in my opinion. He is able to hold an innings together - as he showed in the match against Pakistan and on many other numerous occations. His technique is excellent and he is definitely one of our most valuable batsman. It would be a tough decision to pick who is more valuable to our team between Sachin and Dravid.

People just claim him to be "boring" but he is one of the greatest finishers we have had (as Cricketman stated) and most people just forget how valuable he is to our team.

The best quality of his is that he always makes the innings Stable and never ever Panics

It would be very tough to find a batsman like Dravid who can stabilise the innings in an ODI and also keep the scoreboard ticking. Even in those days, he was a rare guy who didnt take too much risks and still kept going at a good ODI rate.
