Ramdan Karim!

Happy Ramadan guys.

Could someone run me through, what you'd do on a typical Ramadan day? I've done a bit of research on it, just interested to know how it affects our PC members :)

Man after P.E i was soooo thirsty but what can you do.

So you can't drink during the daylight hours? I thought it was just abstaining from eating food?

Nope, drinking and eating. Usually you can tell the gym teachers that you're fasting and would rather sit out and they don't have a problem with it, but real men don't care if they can't drink water after running laps. :D

My day goes by relatively quick during Ramadan as I work overnights so sleep through a lot of it. ;)

Happy Ramadan Mubarak Guys.

Well first I get up at 4:00am and eat until 5:07am. From then on you cannot eat or drink anything till it goes dark (e.g. Here in Sheffield, 7:27pm)

It's especially hard as I am the only Muslim in my year and at dinner time they eat and you can smell chips, sandwiches etc. Well not 3 hours and 8 minutes to go :)

I feel bad when I outpace or tackle a guy in PE who is fasting :(
But they more or less play. But they normally play basketball cause it is indoors and not outdoors. The big problem this year is the Ramadan is in summer and not in winter like it has been for the last few years.

Its not only abstinence from food, its also abstinence from all evil deeds... Its the best time to improve oneself... Also, every good deeds have multiple benefits...
