Just returned from the Formula Rossa roller Coaster in Abu Dhabi (it touts itself as on of the fastest roller coaster). Holy crap the G-forces in the ride was intense. It speeds up from 0 to 240 km/hour in 4.9 seconds!

Gar - the dinosaur fish of the Southern US.
Went fishing for gar this past weekend. For anyone not familiar with the fish its a remnant of the dinosaur days. Garfish have not evolved in some 100 million plus years. They are fierce predators who can air breathe and have razor sharp teeth which can shred your skin down to the bone.
Had a pretty successful trip, got 3 of them including a 4 footer and we had about 15-20 on but lost them in battle. I fought one for a good 20 minutes only to lose him at the boat. They are an exciting and underrated sport fish, they fight, they jump and of course they can fried chicken you up if not handled properly.
Here are some pics and a video of the big one pulling line.
also caught this bass towards the end of the trip, real beauty

going catfishing this weekend and down to the Gulf of Mexico for some shark surf fishing in a month!
