I just saw that rapidshare has been launched again with new features and styles.

This new one looks stupid. I think they've tried to give a classic simple look but the old one was better. I use either Megaupload or Rapidshare to download stuff and Rapid share always seems to have a slow kbs per second compared to Megaupload.

Megaupload > Rapidshare..

But both are slightly gay beacuse they have download limits..

When I download a file frm Megaupload it gives out a speed of 10-12 kb/s but when downloading frm Rapidshare I get a speed around 28-32 kb/s

When I used to get PES patches that people uploaded to Rapidshare that were in seperate parts you had to wait ages between one download and another, very annoying . Plus the downloads would "expire" so patches kept having to be reuploaded and if the maker of the patch wasn't around any more then you ended up with loads of dead links and patches that can't be downloaded... also very annoying.

I hardly ever download anything anyway now, I just use my computer for MSN, Xfire and the internet mostly.

There is a simple method to bypass it, disconnect, clear cookies and then download it

Another simple method is just click on Repair under you LAN connection menu, It will renew your IP address

To counter the slots problem just install the toolbar in the useless Internet Explorer, that's what I did.

I saw one extension for Firefox which will allow you to download file from Megaupload without limit.
