Ratings Discussion

They sure messed up Flintoff. How can he be a better batsman then Hussey, Katich and co.?

Yea really thats just a real big joke thats probably because of his high batting rating from BLIC 2007 which is even high than this one

how the hell is Panesar's bowling rating higher than Hauritz. Hauritz is better than Swann and Panesar put together even though, Panesar is s**t.

How biased are you? Hauritz isn't better than Panesar and Swann. He's as good.

Hauritz isnt any better than panesar. Remember, he is a average bowler in Aussie Domestic Cricket. Taking wickets against England is not a big thing as they are not the stongest players of spin. They even struggle against Pie-Chuckers like Yuvraj LOL:rtfl... If Hauritz can perform well against Srilanka or India then only he could be called a better bowler. Till then he is just average.

On Topic:
They should get the ratings of unlicensed teams right. Coz it would be awefull to see Steyn bowling at 70MPH or Yuvraj batting like tailender(though he sometimes bats like that against spinners lol)...

Would they show stats for unlicensed teams too??? If so then can they show the real life stats of a player with fake name??? If yes then it would be awesome. According to me that shouldnt cuase any problems as they are just assigning stats to a fake player which could be anything. and they can always attach
"All the players and their stats are fictional and any resemblance to any living or dead is purely coincidental":p:p

You might want to give Hauritz a bit more time before praising him too much. He's had a decent start, sure, but wait until some of the batsmen figure him out a bit and exploit his weaknesses. Then you'll see the real test of a spin bowler in how they respond to that.

Well, I mean Flintoff's batting is clearly better than Collingwood's, Cooks and Hussey's.

Poor Collingwood, He is always underated :D perhaps this is just a clever ploy by the developers. Perhaps after the first test where he stays in for 4 days after higher rated batsman loose their wicket cheaply and then his rating changes to 100!

still, we can change them so who cares?

Monty's batting makes me lol though, who possibly justified that decision?

Heres what I will change them too

A Strauss - 72/5
A Cook - 70/5
R Bopara - 65/40
K Pietersen - 78/50
P Collingwood - 74/60
M Prior - 68/WK
A Flintoff - 57/82
S Broad - 48/76
G Swann - 47/74
J Anderson - 39/82
M Panaser - 1/72

As for the convicts...

P Hughes - 72/5
S Katich - 74/50
R Ponting - 85/40
M Hussey - 75/40
M Clarke - 79/56
M North - 68/57
B Haddin - 69/WK
M Johnson - 58/79
N Hauritz - 30/65
P Siddle - 29/78
B Hilfenhaus - 25/72

Well after Cardiff we can get Anderson and Panesar's batting into the 70's :laugh
Anyway i reckon if Anderson continues his Batting form for a while he might start getting classed as a Bowling All Rounder?
His Batting Average so far in the Ashes is 38!

I dont know about having johnson better, albeit by one point, than flintoff at batting. seems a bit, off to me

Haha, he hasn't got very good technique tbh.
