Reflex Catching

Started playing the game recently.

Noticing that I do everything right - move the cursor to the circle and press X when it goes Green but most of the time it is not registering as a catch so the batsman remains not out. Playing on PS4.
Anyone else having this issue?

I have never had this issue, not once, dropped a few catches because I wasnt quick enough to get the green to show up, but when i do get green it always catches it.

In Ashes, the mini game gets triggered even if it's not a catch.

Also true, so just because you get green and press X doesnt mean it was a catch to begin with, just required reflex fielding...
