Here's a save file for you guys to try out. It's with England, just before the first Test against India in 2007. England were overjoyed when they regained the Ashes in 2005 (coming back from 2-0 down in the series to win) but since then life has been fairly miserable. Test series losses against Pakistan away, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan home and the Ashes lost again to Australia were compounded by ODI series losses against the same teams. They went out in the Super Eight of the World Cup with the international debut performances of Chris Tremlett the only bright spot of the competition for them.

England are now 5th in the World Test Rankings and 8th in the World ODI Rankings. Recently they've been using a Test team of the following:

M. Trescothick (83 Tests, average 41.73 / 66.44)
A. Strauss (38 Tests, vice captain, 41.73)
M. Vaughan (70 Tests, captain, 41.33 / 92.17)
I. Bell (26 Tests, 30.51 / 70.00)
O. Shah (5 Tests, 30.33)
A. Flintoff (67 Tests, 31.28 / 37.20)
G. Jones (35 Tests, keeper, 34.70) [who was in the form of his life during England's 2006 Ashes loss]
A. Giles (57 Tests, 22.11 / 33.08)
M. Hoggard (65 Tests, 7.16 / 34.17)
S. Harmison (52 Tests, 8.86 / 30.42)
C. Tremlett (2 Tests, 13.00 / 101.00)

And the following players have recently been on the fringes of the test team:

A. Cook (9 Tests, 23.72)
S. Jones (21 Tests, 12.68 / 33.17)
S. Mahmood (6 Tests, 9.45 / 47.50)
M. Panesar (13 Tests, 8.58 / 38.48)
K. Pietersen (20 Tests, 26.89 / 19.00)
L. Plunkett (6 Tests, 15.50 / 47.15)
C. Read (14 Tests, 17.37)

England's ODI team in the World Cup was:

M. Trescothick (136 ODIs, 34.14 / 40.73)
A. Strauss (69 ODIs, vice captain, 30.90)
I. Bell (35 ODIs, 30.50 / 14.33)
K. Pietersen (48 ODIs, 46.72)
A. Flintoff (112 ODIs, 32.86 / 27.05)
M. Vaughan (92 ODIs, captain, 28.29 / 42.00)
P. Collingwood (104 ODIs, 27.64 / 50.02)
G. Jones (58 ODIs, keeper, 21.89)
A. Giles (80 ODIs, 18.37 / 36.31)
C. Tremlett (12 ODIs, 4.17 / 24.05)
S. Harmison (51 ODIs, 6.71 / 32.70)

With Flintoff replaced after 2 matches in the Super Eight by A. Loudon (7 ODIs, 22.50 / 83.00)

The other three members of the world cup squad were:

O. Shah (18 ODIs, 20.75)
J. Anderson (45 ODIs, 5.78 / 27.42)
S. Broad (5 ODIs, 6.50 / 97.00)

Can you take England to number 1 in Tests and One-Day Internationals?
