after listening to LP for around 3 yrs, I have finally become bored.But since I hardly watch TV, or any music channel, I can't find new ones, and have to depend on people's views.

so, any suggestions?

(no guns and roses, I listened to them before I went to LP.can't bear them now...

and yes, I know of metallica, but have listened to most of their famous ones.

If you want some good old alternative rock bands try Franz Ferdinand or Incubus. Or even Cake. None of them are new though. If you want some alternative/heavy metal, try Marilyn Manson. But Manson is not everyone's cup of tea.

Cowburn, that first band wouldn't to have the initials of A.C? Because if that's the band you are talking about they are one of the worst and most untalented bands ever, plus not everyone would appreciate their lyrical content.

If you want heavy music listen to Pantera, Slayer, old Metallica or Megadeth great bands with some awesome guitar solos. A band like Linkin Park just does not compare to bands like those, it took me 3 minutes to get bored of Linkin Park.

Knights of Cydonia is brilliant, by far my favorite track on the album. There's been a Muse Top of the Pops special on BBCi for the last few days. It was still going this morning if anyone is interested.
