Vatican Victors Vs Manchester Divided
Date: 15/11/09; Venue: Neutral;
------------------------------------------
Pitch: Slow
------------------------------------------

Pitch Report said:
This is a good track here in these conditions, cool weather, gentle wind passing to the north-west, and there have been some showers which transformed the pitch to a slower, but dusty track. If the team bowls first, there are a lot of chances that they'll make better off the conditions, as today's a clear sky day, quite the chances are that the pitch might harden up and make it easy for the batsmen to score. The Bounce is slightly uneven, and does have a lot of turn power in it, so no wonder if spinners are going to get the best out of here. Batsmen have to play sensibly to discover ways to get runs, otherwise this is a pure bowling wicket. But let's see how and where the advantage see-saws to whom.

The final scorecard for first innings was :
Score: 142
Wickets : 7
Overs : 20.0

------------------------------------------

Innings end analysis said:
Certainly no space for bad efforts here. Vatican were off to a good and gentle start, but an unusual experiment from Manchester Divided to bring the wicket-keeper in worked, Dr.Pepper struck and delivered Manchester Divided it's first wicket. Followed by Sydney Barnes, star stand-out of PCPL, grabbed up 2 quick wickets, but the Victors weren't planning to go more down, and a sensational knock from World Champions and Blake made way to a safe total to have a slog after, but unfortunately Manchester Divided crept up their veins onto the shining stars of Vatican Victors, 07Harrisb flashed onto the scene contributing in a 3 quick wicket fall of Vatican Victors. Dr.Pepper has managed to control the last overs and picked up some wickets into his pocket, expanding his bowling range to an extent in the competition. 142 for the fall of 7 wickets might be a below par total, but Vatican have got a strong bowling attack, and they may stun Manchester divided to a shocking first loss. But let's see, this game is ON.

Good bowling by harrish, Mani and Barnes. 140 is a challenging totak on slow pitch. But everyone knows Man D love challenges and have the potential to achieve it.

No room for complacency, but we have put ourselves in a decent position. I got 3 overs in of fairly restricting stuff. Let's hope the batsmen can get it done!

Gah, remind me not to bowl on Dusty's so much.
