Should Tendulkar make himself available for the t20WC 09 in England?? thats a question which creep into the minds of a lot of fans which have seen him batting recently. Post your views bout this.... For me Tendulkar-Sehwag opening folowed by Gambhir,Raina,Yuvi and Yusuf Pathan is best Indian Team.

Well all Indian fans want him to play T20 World Cup but he doesnt wanna break the team combination...and afterall according to Dhoni its a youngsters game..

Sachin should play the T20 world cup. Gambhir-Sehwag combo has not clicked so far in this IPL. Sachin has been superb. He should open with Sehwag and Gambhir should come in at one down.

He's in brilliant form, but for the good of his career I think it'd be best if he stuck to purely ODi and Test cricket. The last thing India want is Sachin overloading his body and getting injured when he's in such good form. Let the young lads play T20 and allow Sachin to stick to ODi's and Tests.

I completely agree with you KP.. I want him playing in the 2011 world cup in India..

he is perfect for it, but idk if they will pick him or not

I m not talking bout playing all t20 matches in future, I just want him to play this T20 WC. Thats all.Coz the WC is in Englnad and the pitches there gonna assist swing bowling which would be difficult for the sloggers like Yusuf. Even Sehwag and Gambhir would struggle there. Thus Sachin should play the T20 WC 2009. After all, Who is better than master when it comes to playing in swinging conditions and yet attack and maintain a strike rate of above 120/

After seeing the yesterday IPL match(where he blasted 68 runsfrom 63 balls), I definietly say he sould be picked.

Stop finding new ways for him to get injured. Test and ODI cricket is enough.

Well, though he did well, the Team of T20 is quite different and if he goes in someone comes out. So that would result in breakin of combinations etc. Plus, we don't know when he would return to hospital, we dont want him to get injured quite too often do we?

Gambhir-Sehwag combo has not clicked so far in this IPL.

They have falied in just three matches. Means nothing.

Well, I think Sachin should not play T-20. Not saying he's bad, don't pick me wrong here. I believe if he starts playing T-20 now, he'll soon become one of the best T-20 players ever. But it's for his own sake. He has grown old, and his fitness level has fallen a bit. It's quite natural. Though Sachin is fitter than 75 percent players playing cricket ATM, he's not what he was 10 yrs ago. And T-20 is a game requiring immense physical fitness. If Sachin somehow receives a major injury whilst playing T-20, then what will happen to his career? We all want him to score 100 intl hundreds, as Dan says. We all want to see him in the 2011 World Cup. But if he gets injured, then that's the end. None of us want this. We love Sachin. T-20 is not a serious cricket at all, it's just entertainment. So, why should Sachin risk his career by playing T-20? That's why I think he shouldn't play this shorter format of the game.

I want him to limit his ODIs too, as he has been doing. He's not playing deadrubbers, and usually only playing half the games in the series. I don't mind, it grooms Gambhir as an opener and gives him experience in the middle order, whilst helping Sachin reach 2011.
