If you have no preference, I think it's definitely best to get bowlers. They sell better and if you get a bowler with some batting points, he's a lot more useful than a batsman with half-arsed bowling.

Of course, it might be 10 pulls or more between a respectable, so if you do really need a batsman, it's best if you try to get one. Long term training has much more impact than short term talent and in my books, competent players with high fielding have always rated higher.

You can make a absolutely brilliant player out of him if you give him the right nets!

Well I'd give him 1xstam, 1x batting, 2x bowling and 1x fielding, perhaps even 2x batting if you have the space. It might also be a good idea to BT-Mail the Windies U19 manager and see if he may be in contention for U19 in which case you should follow his allocation if he may be good enough.

You don't really invest in a player. You invest in ITS (Intensive Training Sessions) points that you can put on your player when you want him. The maximum amount of ITS you can put on a player aged 17 is 35.

Go to your club info page and click "Start developing a new Youth Academy player". From there you can get your player but you would want to wait till you have more ITS points and to the start of the season as getting a player now isn't worthwhile.

The amount of ITS you have can be found on the club info page.

Yeah, I'm only getting 5 ITS a week, so that I am saving up for the beginning of next season.

Anyway I got this guy today with 0 ITS. On the transfer market for 0, should get a couple of K for him:
