Quite amusing the way everyone seems to be writing Utd off because of that shambolic transfer window and less than stellar start. We've had worse starts than this and still won the league...

Top goalscorers in England, Spain & Italy (Messi & CR7 excluded in Spain) Benteke, Villa, Balotelli

Best signings in England, Spain & Italy (based on paper) Ozil, Isco maybe?, Ljajic

Best signings in England, Spain & Italy (based on money for value) Antonio Luna (villa, ?2m), don't know, Kaka (milan, free)

Worst signings in England, Spain & Italy Bony (swansea, ?12m) and Osvaldo (southhampton ?13.5m) Bale duh, Llorente already looks a flop for juventus and without Matri they don't have back up.

Best young players in England, Spain & Italy not a clue on the first two, I hope Cristante gets some games with Milan though.

Overachievers in England, Spain & Italy Aston Villa, ?, Roma
Underachievers in England, Spain & Italy[/QUOTE] Man city, Barcelona and fiorentina.

Also think Bayern will not prosper under gaurdiola for a numerous reasons and Dortmund will trounce them in the league and they'll be out in the QFs of the CL, they might make the semi finals with a lucky draw though.

Liverpool have added well and have started the season well, let's also not forget that Suarez hasn't kicked a ball yet. Spurs have added as best as they could but they've lost Bale and Bale is what kept them from staying mid-table. I think Martinez in his first season is going to be good but with Liverpool's additions they all but have 5th spot and the Europa League spot sewn up.
