I understand his sentiments.

Sounds like another Sehwag.
You need a batsman who can make runs on South African wickets if your team is going to be a world-beater. Not someone who can cash in on a flat-wicket and score triple hundreds.
I doubt any of your batsman will be able to do what Hughes did to South Africa in South Africa just recently. Not even Sachin or Dravid could reach those heights in those parts of the world.![]()
Beat South Africa in South Africa 2-1 in the Test series. I'd say that we're doing mighty fine at the present and have acchieved more success in South Africa just recently then what India will do for a fair while.

When will we tour SA next? Anyone knows? It will be one heck of a series.
Come close to beating away? We lost our last tour there 2-1. Going into the third test the series was tied 1-1 and we even had the first innings lead. It took a strong rearguard action from Boucher and Pollock and a great Steyn spell in the second innings for them to beat us.All I'm saying is that you need a batsman to be able to dominate in South Africa, because they are the only team that you haven't come close to beating away. Up until this point, VVS Laxman tops the averages for India batsman in South Africa with an average of 41 and he hasn't scored any hundreds either.
Or is my sarcasm meter bad and you just trying to get these dudes frustrated.
What is really your problem mate? We understand that you are jealous and apprehensive of Sehwag having already overshadowed that Queenslander. But it becomes embarrassing to see every thread being spammed by you with seeds of illogical hate.Sounds like another Sehwag.

And yeah, not even the great ol Braddy did it, so Hughes > Braddy > Hayden?Sounds like another Sehwag.

Sehwag is best opening with Gambhir. I think it is after eons we have such a stable and match-determining opening partnership, perhaps first such thing since Gavaskar-Chauhan, and I think even better than that. Perhaps, best ever test opening partnership we have got??
