Selected for Test side: so when do I play?

My primary club is Kent CCC but I've been playing in the (very lengthy) Australian club, 50-over and T20 seasons. My performance as a batting all-rounder have been good enough for me to be "Expecting Selection" for the England Test XI and now I notice I have actually been selected (I think it says "Regular Member"). Anyway, at what point will I be excused from playing in the Australian club season to play in Tests? I heard that you get to play Tests even while the regular club season goes on without you but that hasn't happened. Can anyone advise re. what to expect? Thank you.

You will be in the side at the start of the next england test match, meaning you will miss any domestic cricket while you are on international duties.
