He will be missed... but with his departure it opens the door to a younger talent..

I think he should keep playing, he's still a great cricketer, and captain. Too bad he'll most likely lose this series.

Obviously I'd like to see him stay, but it's up to Steve Waugh himself as to when he goes. He wants to leave the game now while he's in form and on top as part of a World Champion side so you've gotta respect that.
