Simple Maradona sig
Step 1: Create a new canvas (I did 500x200) and insert your stock image
Step 2: Now go to Layer> New Fill Layer> solid> Blue (or whatever colour suits) and set to overlay 20% and rub out the blue that is over the main part of the pic
Step 3: Now get a white soft brush 100px and brush over the render and set to overlay 20%
Step 4: After that select the rectangular marquee tool and make a rectangle shape then right click> fill> go to the drop down menu next to use and select white. Click Ok then set to overlay and put it in the top right hand corner.
Step 5: Now add your text in the rectangle box you just made. Adjust the size of the box and text so the text fits nicely.
Step 6: To finish off go to layer> new fill layer> patterns and select the one with the white background and the 3 black squares going diagonal. Put it on top of all the layers and set to overlay 36% and rub out the bits over the main part of the pic and text.
Step 7: The 7th and final step is to simply add a border that suits the sig (Ctrl+A>Edit>stroke> choose a colour and size that looks good) and then we are done. 7 simple steps and you should have something like this!:
