Sound editing (help)

Just trying to find out if anyone knows a good program to open and edit the sound file, and if so where I can download it

No I am trying to stop it from looping over and over again(grrr)
and I was thinking, the best place to start is in the sound file
but I dont know of any way of opening the file

I don't think anyone knows too much about the sound file- we can't edit it yet, possibly someone's working on an editor but don't hold your breath

I know the sound file can be edited, but I need some kind of PAK file opener or something like that so I can open it, but I am not going to spend $20Us just to open one file, and until I find a free pak file opener I will just have to wait(joy)

You can use dragon unpacker 5 to extract those ogg files from the snd_pc.pak, you can get it from www.dragonunpacker.com. You have to use HyperRipper plugin to search the snd_pc.pak file, before searching make sure that you have selected the search ogg file format

got all 2990 odd sound files. Now the hunt to find the sound command file, well thanks once again for your help Prakash

hey koala, i m pretty sure that there are 6603 ogg files make sure that u have searched correctly

How big is the sound file anyways and wouldn't it take alot of time to modify it. (if you know what I'm saying)

Prakash I did an all round search and all I got was 2998 ogg files
but now, I've got to find the sounds command file or a file like that
so that my friends and I can go on with are all round patch.
Well I am off to find the codex
