yes thats because they had played a lot of cricket and without much break. The Windies tour to SA, and SA tour of NZ were almost back to back, and both of 'em were pretty long tours.

I dont get it, why do they not play Sangakarra as wicketkeeper in test matches also? They can play Maharoof in place of Kaluwitharana

The reason they don't play Sangakara as the wicketkeeper is because he tends to not preform well with the bat when he keeps wickets as well. I think they want him to concentrate more on his batting. His foot work seems to be awful when he bats after having to keep for 2 days or so.

i cant agree more with you michael vaughn, i never rated him as a top batsman, up there with the likes of hayden, dravid, lara or tendulkar. I bet he cant do this in england, what u say micheal?:)

well he dint play too bad in 2002, infact got a hundred if i am not wrong. But sri lanka lost the tests 2-0, and dint make it to the finals of the odis either.
