The real thing I wish for in BLIC 07 is more statistics.

I would love it if you could reset all stats so everyone starts will 0 batting/bowling avg, then thru-out the game/career your stats are built up. Players age, die and new ones come in.

I would love to see a certain players stats against a certain bowler or against a certain team, with attainable history always at the click of a button. While i think this might be a touch more difficult on the PS2, it should be relatively easy on the PC, with such huge harddrives.

Is it just me or was the last effort really lacking in this dept. Has it been improved in this game, do people want to see that type of improvement. To me it really adds to the depth of the game when u can see that with Freddie your batting avg is 43, but with Strauss it's a low 20 over 88 test matches, or over 165 1-day ints ....part of the game in real life so i would love to see it in BLIC 07.

I would *LOVE* to have the stats, just like in the old '99 version-why not! It makes it way more fun to see how your guys go over a period of time. I'll be very disappointed if its not included in the new game. The 05 game was great, but can REALLY be improved upon!

On the subject of side features...what will the World Cup and Champions Trophy modes be except a series of exibitions because that is what it seems in BLC 2005.

Thanks dude, I have heard from quite a few ppl that the lack of stat tracker hindered the enjoyment for them in the 05 version-I just think we had one in the early games, why not now?

It completely killed the game for me, I wanted to see everything. I can forgive other flaws as long as this is part of the game. Cricket is about stats, you only have to watch a game on tv and they throw stats at you on a minute by minute basis. If its not included it will be a diasaster.

YAY finally it seems im not the only one thinking lack of stats killed the previous release. Yeah its good news to hear Rubber say there will be some more in-depth stats in the next game. And its true....whats the use of stats during a tournament if it only keeps track of every game and not the tournament as a whole? Then it sure seems like just a bunch of exhibitions...

By the way why dont we start a thread and give some suggestions about what kind of stats to be included? I mean its probably a bit late now (only a couple more months before the game is done) but perhaps for a future release?

woo ... I've been harping on about getting more stats in this game ever since it was relaunched. it was one of the best parts for the original BLIC game on PS1. I've never understood why it never stayed in the game.

Cricket is all about stats ...
