Finally gave up on it and took mine back yesterday.
I was waiting for a 360 patch but on hearing that they are only going to fix the online side of things I returned it in disgust.
Such a shame as with a few bug fixes (A.I mainly) it could have been great.
Oh well, will have to think very carefully before purchasing any Codemasters game in the future (without waiting for reviews/feedback)
