Street Fighter 2 For The Pc

Most of the times I try to run this game on PC its either completely screwed up or the controls suck. The best way to go is to download the game on to your Xbox 360 from the arcade.

An excellent plan, with only 2 flaws........

Firstly, I don't own an xbox360

and secondly, I don't own an xbox360.

I know this is technically only one flaw, but it's such a big one, I thought I'd mention it twice ;)

Looks nice, sounds not the best, but the main problem I'm having is how do you configure the pad to do kicks? At the moment, all I'm getting is punches and I have no idea how to block either.

I'm not sure about the pad (I'm using the keyboard), but I think you can do it through the Options>Set Config menu, when you define the buttons. I don't know if it'll work for sure though.
 
Sound is about right, remember its an early 90's game.

Couldn't figure out what key was what, there is a setup, but its in japanese. No matter, completed it using just the shift and ctrl keys with Blanka :)
 
Ok, here's how to configure the keyboard/joypad in the version Pal posted.

From the menu select "Options"
then "Set Config"
goto the "Controllers" tab
select "6 btn pad" from Port 1 and then define the keys you want.
 
Muchos gracias amigo! Works like a dream now, I accidentally selected 3 button pad (which explains why it wasn't recognising the other buttons!!).

Does anyone know of a PC Version of Super Mario Worlds (that doesn't have a big, fat trojan in it, unlike the one I d/l a way back)?

The only thing is, the sound quality (when the sound works properly) in this one is far better than the one that Pal posted. Still, can't have everything I suppose!

Downloading now! Hopefully I can still get my pad to work with it if it's as good as you say!

Edit: I can't get this damn code to work, it says four letters with a 'cat'. But it's very hard to see which ones have the 'cat' and which ones don't. Now it says that I've entered too many wrong codes and to try again in a few minutes.

Good find, it's better than the other version and it works with my pad. Have you been able to click on full screen without it crashing? I can get it running in full-screen, but the windows border is always there, is there a way to get rid of that without the game crashing?

It's also got Mortal Kombat, although the blood is green.... See you later, off to watch Hatton event on Box Office!

Now that's more like it, don't like the jazzed up sound they put in that version as much as the original but its defo better. Harder too!
 
Yeps, if someone could find a way to get hold of the original sounds and put those in this version, that'd perfect it! Not holding my breath though!
