Stuart Broad

Hmmm, I see. That reports thing, well maybe when hes officiating there is lots of things happening:) I wonder if he would be allowed to be a Match Referee when his son is playing in the same match.

i think it should be noted that he was saying that you shouldnt change a bowlers action to be perfectly uprite and text book, i remember lisitening to the interview on TMS, he basically said that after you pick up the ball and bowl it for the first time then thats your natural action, and if you can get wickets with that action you should keep it the same, even if it isnt technacally perfect, just look at malinga, hes having some success now and his action is bazaar!!!
i agree with chris broad, if a bowler is taking wickets then he has a good action for him, and it shouldnt be changed

Thanks, that was doing my head in. I new a Pom would definetly play Broad, but you didn't so I was like WTF? lol

I advise you all to get him!

In his first season for me (2nd overall), he was a very lively bowler, lots of chances but not enough end product.

Well since then he has been amazing. i am now in 2011 and here are his stats

and the current season. what a batting average!

he has been my saviour in so many innings. putting on great pairings and winning some games for me

gladd to see hes doing so good in icc3, in 06 he got over 400 test wickets for me at avg of around 22

I too feel Stuart Broad is a good quality player, i feel this should be discussed more on the forums.

Of course he is going to be a gun on the game, England love him....

nah he was attacking the england coaches for trying to teach him... and make his action better he was an opening batsmen he shouldnt be giving advice no matter how much cricket he played he should leave it to the bowling coaches thats what they are paid for. his argument didnt make any sense whatsoever

and this...

Match referees with most reports

Clive Lloyd 29 from 183 matches
Chris Broad 22 from 90
John Reid 21 from 148
Ranjhan Madugalle 19 from 167
Mike Procter 17 from 140

Nothing the matter with Chris. If you check what he's been reported for - then I'd go along with him on nearly every occasion.

As for bowling coaches. Kevin Shine was very average. The ashes winning 4 some of seamers were all injured under his tuteledge,e ven the up and comers went to pieces around him. This time last year Anderson couldn't get a bowl in a chinese restaurant, Harmison was giving 3rd slip a regular peppering and Mahmood was firing 4 deliveries an over down fine leg.... Flintoff had dropped from an occasional 92 MPH bowler to a never above 88 MPH bowler...in fact I reckon the chuckle brothers were probably better equipped seam bowling coaches.

"look i'll stand at better and you sort of "lob" the ball to me"
"then i'll hit it back..right?"

"To me - to you"

Thank god we got Donald in - the change was immediate and was the acid test, showing where the problem was all along
