Jack Teague picked for Somerset
Jack Teague,the young quick bowler,from Nottinghamshire has been chosen to play for Somerset county cricket club.Teague originally born in Somerset has played for district level and excelled for his local club Bingham.His highlight of his career came when he hit 176* in a 45 over match and little did he know that the Somerset scout had been watching his tremendous innings.
Michael Atherton gets a quick interview with Teague
MA:How do you feel about getting chosen to play in a top county side?
JT:Well athers i'm over the moon.when i got told this morning i couldnt believe it,i still think i'm dreaming.
MA:So how do you see yourself in this somesret lineup?
JT:Well i bat at around 4,5,6 or 7 and can bowl a quite few overs with fast medium.
MA:One final thing are you looking forward to playing in this team and which players do you admire?
JT:of course i'm looking forward to it and i am really looking forward to playing with international stars.My favourite player has to be Carl Gazzard and can't wait to meet him.

Flintoff ready for the Sri Lankan's
Today Andrew Flintoff, the stand in captain for Michael Vaughan, said he was looking forward to the the series against Sri Lanka.He said "I have been batting well in the nets and my bowling continues to improve.The team are looking very organised and even though we come in as clear favourites we will not underestimate the Sri Lankan's."Flintoff has also said that the first test at lords will be crucial and he hopes Trescothick can get a few runs on return to international cricket.
