Charl Willoughby Strikes!!!​

The team looked fired up as we ran through a few final things before the two teams go onto the pitch.I mentioned about staying alert in the field by walking in hard and kepping eye on the ball.Also to the bowlers to just keep the ball on an off stump line and make sure our length is spot on.​

The two teams went out and I was looking forward to my first ever game in charge.Andy Caddick the Vice Captain bowled the first over and suprisingly didn't bowl his usually line and length we talked about.His over went for 9 and i was thinking

"Hopefully that won't set the tone"

Charl Willoughby the South African left arm seamer came onto bowl the 2nd over.He pitched It perfectly on off and got it to seam back in.The batsman wasn't expecting it and it struck him on the pad.The guys went up for the appeal and the umpire raised his finger pretty much Instantly.What a start to my Managerial career!​
