Welcome to Planetcricket. First of all, this thread is in the wrong forum, it should be in the Cricket 2005 one. I own Cricket 2005 and I can confidently say that it's not 'crap' at all. It's very realistic and well worth a play.

Totally agree.

Its funny how you all say BLIC will own Cricket 2005. Whats your proof, evidence for that argument? We all thought C2005 would be brilliant, i think its good but how do you know BLIC will be any better?

btw adding to what i said earlier about the game it doesnt have an intro FMV for some odd reason...but once the strokes are edited...new kit mods are in with some decent faces pack this game will rock...no doubts

Kits aren't wrong! We were playing the ICC Champions Cup-and those were the kits! Accurate kits for each tournament! God, you guys just don't listen!

Does it really matter? as long as the kits are the right colours and resemble thereal kits a little, ill be happy...

Cricket 2005's animation is rubbish, especially for spinners, who look like they throw then twist their hand. Also, commentary, crowd noise are the same, all they have added is fielders going "yes!!!!" when they get a wicket.

EA do a terrific job because they know if they buy kit licences and concentrate on graphics, people will buy it, no matter what the gameplay is like. Maybe they did listen to "us". Everyone was complaining about BLIC not having proper names and kits, so EA relaxed on other aspects of the game and just bought them.

If the game is so good why is everyone already talking about patches? Must be a great game if it requires patches straight away.

No, mate, i know that. I was saying it looks like they THROW it then twist their hand, so it looks unrealistic.

BLIC has the proper action, if you look.

Offspinners use mostly their fingers actually, not their hands to generate spin.

true but blc looks like a cartoon especially the pitch

Your opinion mate, I disagree and think that Cricket 2005 looks unrealistic and animations are cartoony. We will agree to disagree.

I disagree. BLIC bowling looks funny. Bowlers legs move at a rapid pace and they seem to have the same animation. Also, wtf is with the bowling speeds ?
I got bowled by a 20MPH ball. Eh ?
... and the stump went cartwheeling down the ground.

crappy.

So just because the kits aren't quite dark enough, means they are totally inaccurate?! Some people are like little kids at times. 'oh, the kits are slightly too bright, its the end of the world!' sheesh, stop being so picky!
