They haven't exactly revolutionised the game, have they? If we started comparing anyone who did well in their careers to the absolute best then the comparisons would become pointless.

Tendulkar and Dravid are two of the absolute best.

Regardless of the ineffective Chamara Silva, Jayawardene and Sangakkara can destroy any bowling attack in the world. Sanga is the best batsman n the world at the moment and nobody comes close.

It doesn't matter if they aren't in the same category,together the Fab Four created one of the strongest (at least on paper) batting line ups in history.

I think india's middle order is by far the best out of the three team's mentioned...all four of the players mentioned contribute regularly


Sri lanka and pakistan just have one or two guys who do the business.

i personally think australia have the best middle order in the world,with india a close second.

I agree. You may get 4 quick Aussie wickets but you'll probably still have Clarke and Symonds put up a huge total. Symonds is the weakest in there, imo. If he blunts down his game and doesn't give his wicket away as much, they'll become even stronger.

it's always been the case with australia's middle order...it seems if one or two fail then they other two are more than likely to come in and thump it all over the park.

if it's not ponting,it's clarke,if it's not mr cricket,it's symonds,and even if the middle order fails you still have binga to come in and slog it.

i guess that's what makes austarlia the best....now if only england's middle order could find away to be consistent
