Never wrote out a story before but I was quite interested in doing so somewhere so why not here!
This thread will follow the career of a young 18 year old all rounder named Michael Howard, who recently signed a 3 year contract with English County side Hampshire. Michael bats right-handed and also bowls medium pace, he has been pretty decent at 2nd XI level, average 35 with the bat and 39 with the ball. Hampshire see a lot of potential in him and are in a bit of a rebuild in terms of first class cricket, so are more than happy to give the lad some much needed game time to aid his development.
Now I'm only playing first class games in ICC 2013, mainly because I enjoy them the most, and realistically Hampshire wouldn't be playing unknown youngsters in the shorter format considering they have dominated the one-day scene over the last few years in England. I doubt he will make it through to international level as he isn't a full on regen, I just signed him from the start and changed his name, however I may start a new career next season with a proper regen, in the hopes that he eventually becomes a test match great.
