Job Well done...

Dhoni Vs Cullen......
When the Flamboyant Mahendra Singh Dhoni took on the inexperiemnced off spinner from Australia, Dan Cullen the match came into some highlight. The Indian Keeper smashing 3 boundaries consecutively in the opening over of the spinner accumulating 13 runs and getting India to 60/4 after 10 overs. Ricky pointing might just have erred a bit in his judgement and could have given a sneak back passage for India to get into a stable partnership. Facing the first ball of his next overwas in form Sourav Ganguly and even he picked up a easy boundary and then followed it up with a single to give Dhoni the strike. Dhoni defended the first ball he faced. The next ball was driven classically through the covers for a boundary and the hopes of cullen making a impact was decrasing by the ball. Next ball cullen surprisingly gave a lot flight and air pitched outside off stump , dhoni went for a expansive on drive, the ball jagged back in and hit the middle stump and hence the Dhoni show was over.India tottering at 72/5. Pathan came in to bat next and India's hope now rest on the two left handers to script a decent partnership.

Anyone for Support?-Ganguly

Wickets Fall....India Tumble
Cullen continued to impress as he he took another wicket this time of patahn and India now got to 85/6. After that Agarkar and ganguly carried forward the Indian Innings and took India past three figure mark. But once at 115 Agarkar fell to Watson and in the very next over ganguly it was all over. The tail also this time did not was as India were bundled out for a mere 118 runs. Indian team Management might have to answer a few questions as why they decided to bat on such a wicket and that too agaist the might of the in form Aussies. This is the third lowest total for India versus Australia all time

Its a poor display :( it shd be a comfortable game for Aussies!

Easy target for us , poor battisng display from India :p

Super Eight: Australia Vs India
Pitch: Green and Hard
Weather: Sunny
Update: Australia win by 7 wickets(122/3)

Australia cruise through

simonvy9.jpg
Australian team in the first session of play dominated with the ball and now they dominated with the bat. They have reached the target of 119 with 7 wickets to spare and only in 20 overs. Thus they have now got a serious boost to thier net runrate and also they have collected thier first points of super eight tables.

Opening a attack

73624747ro1.jpg

Australian openers Adam Gilchrist and Simon Katich played the first two overs quietly but thereafter they lauched an attack on the Indian bowlers showning no respect and mercy to them. Indian bowlers were also not helped by the fact that ball was not moving in this session of play and was coming on to the bat nicely. The Australians came hard at them while the Indians remained speechless as they were pounded off for a series of fours and sixes. Gilchrist especially hammered Irfan Pathan before losing his wicket to the same bowler while Australia had reached 81. He was out for a very well played 43. Australia then tried to increse thier runrate so that they could have a better chance of making it to the semis and in the process lost wickets of Pointing and Katich.Pathan got two wickets while Harbhajan singh removed Pointing.

Easy win for Australia :p btw good presentation handsome :clap

Yeah...Aussies rampages through the Indians.....great pres Handsome...:clap...the Super 8's are going to heat up....:)

Freddie is a hard hitting, fast bowling, larger than life character who has developed into the fans' favourite - the one they all come out of the bars to watch. Although he has suffered through injuries, he has emerged recently fitter than ever and looking ready to establish himself among the all-time greats. He worked up to 90mph pace with the ball and eclipsed Ian Botham's six-hit record for one-day internationals, in half the number of matches. Man of the Match in each of the three one-day internationals against Bangladesh at the start of the winter tours, he inevitably won Man of the Series honours and was hailed by Michael Vaughan as a true English hero. He would be a asset agaist a team like Pakistan where his aggresion in terms o0f cricket and off it would be useful for England.

Danish Kaneria

Pakistan

Full name Danish Parabha Shanker Kaneria
Born December 16, 1980, Karachi, Sind
Current age 26 years 105 days
Major teams Pakistan, Essex, Habib Bank Limited, Karachi, Pakistan National Shipping Corporation, Pakistan Reserves
Also known as Nani-Danny
Batting style Right-hand bat
Bowling style Legbreak

A tall, wiry legspinner, and only the second Hindu to play Test cricket for Pakistan (the first, his cousin Anil Dalpat, was briefly their wicketkeeper), Danish Kaneria mastered some vital skills at an early age. His stock ball drifts into the batsman and he has a googly as cloaked as any in recent history.. His whirling approach is reminiscent of Abdul Qadir, and he has now picked up the baton from Mushtaq Ahmed as Pakistan's premier legspinner.a surprise recall into Pakistan's ODI squad for the 2007 World Cup, having not been a part of their plans in the last three years. He should be used as a strike bowler by Inzy as Danish has got it in him to get regular wickets and upset any team's rhythm especially England who do not play spin that well.

Its a good preview for another cracking match :)

A serious apology to all the ppl who followed my story for not updating the Pak Vs Eng cracker of a match. Well i had some carp virus and had to delete lot of my stuuf including some Fraps images. So I will continue the story from this point.

Super Eight: Pakistan Vs England
Pitch : Green
Weather: Sunny
Update: Pakistan 214 , England 48/4 (15)

Pakistan struggle to get to 214.

73177762in3.jpg

Pakistan made a very good start to the match and got to around 75/1 in the 15th over. they were helped by some ordinary bowling by the englishmen. But after the initial partnership for 2nd wicket , they kept on loosing wicket and were reduced to 120/4 in 22nd over. They were maintain9ing a good runrate but were loosing too many wickets at regular intervals. again a good partnership for the 5th wicket saw them get past 170 and then wickets crumbled one after the other and pakistan completely lost thier way getting all out for 214 in 43rd over.

Pakistan make England struggle.

51124742hm5.jpg
Pakistani bowlers looked very determined right from the start as they gave notthing away to the english batsmen and bowled almost perfect line and length. In absence of Veterans like Asif and Akhtar , Sami and gul got crucial early wickets reducing England for a mere 48/4 in 15 overs. With the pitch still helping seamers and not much batting depth left England would be banking upon Vaughan and Cook to get them through this one.

SCORE CARD

England always struggle with bat..... Pakistan have climbed up the first step of success!
