Welcome to part 2 of The Cricketer 2008, the show where 12 contestants battle it out for a ?100,000 cash prize and a contract with Hampshire A team. Before the break MacWorld set a challenge to the 2 remaining candidates. This was the final challenge and would decide the overall winner, The challenge set was to write why you believed you should win and how you would bat in a ODI needing 50 runs of 5 overs with a tailender with you at the crease. The tasks were very well done and today the winner will be announced. Good Luck to both contestants. [/COLOR]

MacWorld: Well done, you have both come very far. This has to be the hardest desicion i will ever have to make. Zorax you came to this show as a experienced cricketer looking for a big breakthrough into the cricketing world. Straightaway i liked you and knew you were perfect for the show. You have definatly proven that you deserve to be in the final, you have a great personality and even though you seem to go off topic sometimes, i dont mind because i know the rest it the best. You have done very well to get here. Danni, you were the one that i knew would get to the final straight away, you proved you were the best of the best and your cricket is amazing as well. You have your chance to win now and i think that last essay was amazing. Zorax you have done well in this series, you have definatly proven you can win but so has Danni, However i have to decide. I have made my decision, Danni you are the cricketer 2008.
