Pretty sure his problems started from playing aganist Aussies on Boxing day perhaps, where Johnson had his broken finger.

And there on he stuggled playing for Rajasthan (IPL). Hopefully he gets back to his form soon!

There's never been any doudt about smtih the test batsman. In the last year even with his dreadfull odi and t20 form and his issues with zaheer he still averaged 50.

The questions marks about him is whether he deserves a spot in the odi and t20 team. His test place is secure by quite some distance.

I think players like Miller and other players can take is place in the international side. They are better younger and will have time to blossom before next world cup.

Maybe Smith is slight favourites now but not a done deal surely.

Well,I think Smith is still the right man of the Test captaincy because De Villiers needs some time to develop his captaincy tactics at international level.As far as Smith's odi&t20i careers are concerned,Smith has been in dreadful form for the past year or so.He should be dropped for a series or two and play domestic cricket and regain his form.
