The first day/night game

A while back I asked a question in the Cricket Quiz thread about the first day/night cricket match.

I said it was played at Highbury football ground, between Arsenal FC and Middlesex.

It is officially the first ever day/night game, yes. It has no official status as far as statistics are concerned, but then neither do the games played as part of World Series Cricket.
