Ever heard of my mate Shaun Briggs, who plays for Derbyshire in a parallel dimension?:p

Leeds 3 - 1 Derby, 3-0 down in the first half!!!!

Not the right result but it was a good laugh, nice ground up at Elland Road but the fans were rubbish (all 39 of them)!!! Derby sang all the way through and it was a good crack so it was alreet in the end.

Update tonight maybee....

Wow! I love this story!!! I hope Kent will be able to beat them lol!

Middlesex Crusaiders Vs Lancashire Lightning

Another wonderfull batting display and yet another century by Mark Chilton made sure that Middlesex have a mountain to climb to if they are to get anywhere near a win here at Lord's, although the pitch has shown that it does not favour the bowlers. Chilts has now plundered four hundreds in four innings, an incredable feat to say the least but it will have to end somewhere... wont it? I hope not, its doing him the world of good, hes been bouncing around the changing rooms sinse day one of the season and is terrible for taking the mickey in training, he seems to be firing on all cylinders at the moment and long may in continiue!

Ian Sutcliffe continued his supporting role well with a cracking 60. He played some marvelous shots all around the wicket, some were elegant and some were just raw power. He looked in good touch for the most part but was very lucky twice, he edges the second ball of the innings through to Nash behind the stumps who promptly let the ball go sailing through his hands for four, it should have been caught easily, the second chance came two balls before he got out, Styris produced a corkcer of a bouncer that turned Sutters inside out! The ball carried to second slip but was put down. This must have spurred the bowler on because a play and a miss on the next delivery and a middle stump sent cartwheeling backwards after that meant that Chilton was gone and Middlesex had gotten the breakthrough courtesy of Scott Styris.

After smashing 110 runs from 121 balls Chilts was naturaly confident, he was seeing the ball well and middleing it nearly every time, it was like watching yourself play Cricket 2005 on hard mode in a ten over match, image yourself as Bangladesh and image your bowling to Adam Gilchist. Thats how good of an innings it was! Now i must admit, my money was on him getting out cheaply, i thought the pressure would get to him, but, he proved me wrong and now had over 400 runs for the season after 3 matches, im not sure anyone else can say that this season or any season in recent years, he is on top form and if he gets another century in the upcomming Championship innings then i will personally run onto the field and kiss him, i couldnt have asked for a better start to the season from our captain, talk about leading from the front!

Stuart Law came in and played a little cameo performance, he took a few balls to get settled and get a feel for the wicket. He managed to get two boundaries away during his stay at the crease, his judging of singles was second to none, he and Brad Hodge were knocking the ball around nicely, picking up 1' and 2's and even the odd 3 in between boundaries, by this time the run rate was high and the game plan was to score at least one boundary in the over and the rest singles, we just about managed that in the end and we churrned out a good performance and a good score.

Freddie and Brad batted for a few overs and both scored above the amount of balls faced which is what you want in the final few overs, Freddie played his part well but i told him not to swing too hard, just a little reminder that he had some bowling to do as well! He still managed to hammer one boundary in his stay of 13 runs from 10 balls. I think we have the bowling prowess to win this match even though the pitch isnt good for seamers, Middlesex's groundsmen are obviously keen Murali fans because even though the crusaiders lack a decent spinner they have produced a turning pitch... starnge, but im not complaining, its better that way, it makes matches more interesting when you give the opposition a weapon....
