WTF !!! The captains have been standing for a long time. They should atleast be given a place to sit on the stage, it's sad when you can see the other dignitaries sitting in the comforts of the stands.

Well if any captain would lash out after ceremony, it would be K.P.

And this is ridiculous from Mustafa, its a international event and he should stick to English. Even IPL maintains that standard in their functions.

Actually its the event of international cricket.and the speech is in bengali.the captians except shakib will be saying..what the hell he is saying..and ya if captains wont get chairs..iam sure they are gonna sit down...

Really the Opening ceremony is flop. I can understand if few things were in Bengali as it's their native language but so many performances and speech also in Bengali? That is not good for world wide audience

Stupid ceremony. The speeches were way too boring and should have been in English.

The only speech I understood was from the Bangla Finance minsiter[ what was he doing there anyway ??? ]

And Sharad Pawar really must stop talking, no one understands him- Lorgat ought to have substituted him.

I'm glad i missed most of the opening ceremony, it seemed pretty boring.

Only good part of the ceremony was Bryan Adams performance. He knows how to play with the crowd. Whistling them , nice trick His performance shows the difference between avg singer and him. Other singers were raising hands while singing and literally begging the crowd to clap for them, whereas crowd was in Nirvana while Adams was singing.
