The PlanetCricket Battrick Sledging Thread

well my Plau-Off match is against a very very good team next week...am not confident i will win it but will give it a fair go...

I have 256,000 in balance right now. My Academy's condition is Strong and I have stored 58 ITSs. Should I spend the additional 30,000 required to increase it to Superb or not?

I plan to pull a 20 year old with the highest amount of ITSs possible this week.

id wait until the start of next season and pull a couple of max ITS 17 year olds, you'll porbably get a t least one player as good as a 20 year old, but at a trainable age, or at least at a more lucrative selling age

yea you should wait till the start of next season otherwise your player will age. And as for upgading your YA that too can be done at the start of next season

FF: Yes, GFI does have an effect.
And pal: Yup, get it to Superb, and then the choice is yours. A 20 year old with 48 ITS. Can get you a:
Stamina: Mediocre (12) Keeping: Worthless
Bating: Mediocre (12) Concentration: Mediocre (12)
Bowling: Worthless Consistency: Woeful (6)
Fielding: Woeful (6)
As a minimum (If you are lucky, he may end up with competent or respectable in a skill. You could also take the ITS from fielding and put it in bowling for an allrounder) , or use 36 on a 17 year old trainee next season, whcih can get you a minimum of a mediocre-mediocre-mediocre bowling/batting trainee.

Thanks for the responses, guys. I think I'll wait until the start of the next season and pull some players then.

One more thing:

19 yo, BT Rating=8,305

LH Batsman, LFM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
An attacking player with proficient leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Stamina: woeful Wicket Keeping: respectable
Batting: worthless Concentration: worthless
Bowling: mediocre Consistency: respectable
Fielding: worthless

Would this guy pop if given two bowling nets? His BT rating seems too high for his primaries.

BT rating is weighted equally between all skills, not just primaries. Those 2 respectable's account for the high rating.

Wages, on the other hand, are weighed towards primaries. If you post his wage I might be able to answer your question.

Oh ok, that explains the rating. Here is his wage: ?1,216 p/w

Also, how many sports psychologists do you guys recommend having?
