The PlanetCricket Battrick Sledging Thread

The game between Old Wulfs and Jeanz will not take place this week. Freddie has e-mailed me explaining the situation and because he did no wrong, he will not have to forfitt the game. Instead, because of its importance, the game will now take place in week 23 as it could potentially decide who is promoted automatically, and who has to go through the play-offs.

Just so people dont complain about the competition being extended further, there are already 3 games in each division that will take place in week 23, so this game is not the only reason it is being extended.

Jeanz are free to make an outside challenge for this week only

and yeah you got a pretty good player there Fatal...increasse his con to about feeble-medicore and he will be ace...not saying he isn't now...

Awesome batsman you got there Fatal! What nets is he getting?

3 batting and a fielding net.
I am not sure to continue the same nets after this season but may be I am going to put him on 1 batting, 1 w/k and 1 fielding.
This will increase his concentration faster. Pakistan's manager told me to put him on atleast 2 batting nets in the next season and he could be the called up for NT or might be U19 team. But its too difficult, 19 yop trains very slow in primary and I've got more players to train.

i need all you people's opinion on this -->

Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: worthless

ok so he just popped up to stong batting this week, do u guys think i should stop his batting nets or i should keep his 2 batting nets and wait for him to go up to superb?

I'd train him till the end of the season, then stop. Get a 17YO in and put your nets on him. If he only just popped to strong, it'll take a long time to get to Superb, as he'll be 20 for most of his training. Not the most economical use of your nets.

I'd stop at the end of the season too. I am going to do that for both Rudi and Tuckett. Then get some 17 YOs to train.

yea i was planning to train him to the end of the season but he just popped this week so that means that he has around 2 more weeks left and i am sure that he wont pop in the next 2 weeks, so i might as well give the nets to someone else..rite?

yep, so i am going to give 1 net to Adbul Kadir(19 yr old keeper who is expected to pop sometime soon) and the other 1 to Mackenzie(18 yr old who is also expected to pop soon)

Can I ask Briggs for some clarification on league positions? Currently I am 3 points clear of the Pakistani Pingers and play them in a crucial game on Sunday. If they were to win, and therefore draw level on points, and then we stayed level in the final week, who would not be relegated? I won the earlier encounter if it makes a difference (by 7 wickets).

It just could be really important

Seeing as how going through each game and calculating the NRR will be a massive job, if teams are level on points, then games involving those teams will be taken into account, if each time has both won once, then the margins will then come in to play. Unless embi has managed to get his program to calculate NRR from the matches, this will have to be the way to do it.
