I'm trying to buy a bowler, saw him on the marjet and thought he was a good buy. No other bids as yet. He needs a bit of cons training but apart from that he's very nice.

Not far off Quality by the looks of it, and 2.3 million for a nearly Quality bowler isn't bad at all. He's fast, destructive, just the sort of spearhead I've been looking for.

i wouldnt play him if his PF was low, reduced performance and it wont get better by playing him

Possibly. I'd rather have Allardyce getting a duck in an ODI than lose the Battrick league.

He can't more's the pity, The deadline isn't till 12:30 or something. He'll be ready if I get through to the final (if I get him, anyway)

You got him on too many nets as that's the only reason the PFL should decrease.

Weigh it up, how much does he strengthen your team? Would you still have the players to beat FF without him? Your seam bowling is still pretty darn good and the pitch is Flat, so its your batting thats important tomorrow, I know hes an all-rounder but are your batsmen capable of putting up 300+ or even chasing down 300+ without him?

If he plays chances are he wont play well but if he chips in with 30 or 40 quick runs and picks up 2-50 odd with the ball it could be valuable but id strongly reccomend taking his nets off for monday and resting him on Friday or he will be useless to your for a couple of weeks maybe more.

This is why good back-ups are very important. Play a full time batsman if the pitch is flat.

thanks for the views, well he is getting 2 batting and 1 fielding net and his stamina is at Respectable. The only thing is that when he used to get 2 batting 2 bowling and 1 fielding, about 4 weeks ago his PFL was still at Energetic/Sublime, so i dont know if its a bug or what.

The only thing is that i know if i play him for the match then he wont play as well as he should be, i am better off playing Amhed who is a Respectable bowler(respectable cons) and a Respectable batsman...only thing is that he is 17 year old and has worthless conc.

Well last time i played FF, i made 290 odd with Rampaul scoring only 20 and taking 1 for 59. I still won, so if i play with Ahmed it might make a difference.

As for the PFL problem, Rampaul wont play the next 2 OD matches as they are against #7 and #8 so i am ok playing someone else, i wont stop his training as he needs the training due to him being 20 i want him to pop to Superb/Quality batting asap...

Sounds like a bug, my guys are fine and they are getting about the same amount of nets but much less stamina. My guy with 2 bowling, 1 batting, 1 fielding and stamina is at invigorated PFL.

Well Midworth my 17YO trainee gets 5 nets on a Monday, 3 bat, 1 wk and 1 stamina and he played on Friday and today his PFL is Sublime. Compare that to Ahmed my other 17YO trainee, he gets 3 bowl, 1 field, 1 stamina and he didnt play on Friday, but his PFL is Lively.

Midworth has Proficient stamina, Ahmed respectable, so maybe that has an effect? Dont know much about PFL to be honest and what effects it etc.

oh well, i jus hope he goes back up to energetic by next week.
