@Khan Sahab54
Harvey did not open before 2004, so I can't guarantee his performance. Sure you can try your own combinations but it's going to be risky.

There's some more Warne magic in this Sharjah Cup as he has taken 9 wickets thus far in the tournament. He took 3/45 in his 9 overs getting the wicket of Inzamam ul Haq, Moin Khan and Shoaib Akhtar. McGrath also got 2/24 in 10 overs while Jason Gillespie got 2/34 off his 9 overs. Another uncharacteristic innings from Shahid Afridi but this time the runs came at a better pace. Youhana scored just 1 after his match winning performance against India. It was Ijaz Ahmed's 67 helped by Abdul Razzaq's 54 that pushed Pakistan's total to above 200.

Pakistan Captain Wasim Akram got Ian Healy out lbw in the very first over of the innings. However, Ricky Ponting and opener Mark Waugh showed a lot of aggressive intent as Pakistan bowlers couldn't do anything but watch the game going away from them. Ponting scored 51 while Mark Waugh went on to score 85 from just 80 deliveries. He got out caught behind off Shahid Afridi's leg break. Australia cruised home as they won by 6 wickets in just 34.2 overs!!!

Weak batting performance, and Australia aren't the team that's gonna let that go unpunished. Need to do better.

Bringing in Matt Horne for Young did wonders for New Zealand as they put on 129 runs for the opening stand!!! Horne scored 76 while Astle scored 57. The Indians got both openers in quick succession after that long partnership. But Stephen Fleming scored at an excellent pace scoring 74*(71) as it ensured that New Zealand scored a decent total of 247. Had other batsman also showed intent, they could've got to a bigger score. Nevertheless, the score is worth defending if they get wickets at regular intervals

Geoff Allot's left arm pace proved to be too good for the Indians as he got 3 wickets to his name which included the big-fish Sachin Tendulkar!!! Allot finished with figures of 3/35 from his 10 overs. All-rounder Chris Cairns also got 2/34 in his 10 overs. Larsen being on the expensive side managed to pick up 2 wickets. Only Rahul Dravid played an innings of substance as he scored 44. Ajay Jadeja also tried to steady the sinking Indian ship as he scored 41. However, the New Zealand seamers made it incredibly tough for the Indians to chase down 248 as they fell short by 53 runs.
