Here is another screenie shud i believe it or run a scan using Spybot.Im installing it

it is the virus playing games with you.

install spybot, its very safe, dont worry.

Just for your safety, take a backup of all the important data on an external medium if you can..

it is not neccessary, but recommended

just keep your antivirus and spybot updated, and regulary scan your system.

I have injected avast and Spybot, along with Opera, firefox, and some other things like codecs in my windows installation. Good thing is, avast updates on its own, so I don't have to worry about updating my antivirus anytime I install my windows.

Another problem screen attached .I used the search and destroy option it listed 3 spywares im trying to remove them but they are not being removed.What to do

P.S-No need of telling me anything i m gonna format the computer day after tomorrow (not due to viruses but other reasons).

If you're sure you are going to format, then its fine, but in the future, try to be more careful about the files that you download (specially applications), and try not to click on those inviting ad banners.

a word of advise, while taking the backup of your important files prior to backup, please make sure that those files are really important. try to avoid any software or .exe file for that matter. It is advisable to only take the documents and other important stuff.

Well im formatting the disk becoz a year back my 160 GB drive had 4 partitions three 40 GB and one 39.5 Gb.I decided to order and try Ubuntu.I had no idea how to install it so while trying to install it i ended up splicing 2 partitions and reduced the space of one of the partitions from 40 gb to 3.5 GB.So im formatting it and decided to organize my software properly.Anyways the imp files are just documents and programming software.And for the last problem i managed to solve it.Thanks Guys:cool:
