Can you please explain it again?? I didn't seem to get it.
If you are unaware, Linux is an open source operating system, and it is Free. Why would you want to spend money on something thats absolutely free??

Thats probably coz we are opting to get a Hard Copy, and they need to cover their costs. The cost of the CD, packaging, postage, and handling.
Anyway, i wasn't referring to your post. It was Hitterman's Post that stumped me.

Yeah, I know. But why would you want to get something shipped that you can download in about 5 minutes? With Ubuntu I understand because the download can be around a gig or so.

I wanted to have a operating sys which my dad could use but when i tried to install it it completely stumped me.I had to idea how to install it.And i deleted two partitions.I formatted the HDD yesterday.And yeah this is going completely offtopic some mod lock it.

That still doesn't explain why you bought something that you can get legally for free, but meh.
