Some introductory notes here, that will make stuff easier to understand :)

The game is BLIC.

I'm basicly going to be playing World Cricket.

The series will not allways be the real life happening series, but they maybe occasionaly.

I will play most series in full, but I will not play all series (I'm not playing the SuperSeries).

However, players will only be able to be in one place at a time!

Dates will be used in the threads, and will probably not be the Real Life dates.

The Dates are just used to give a story timeline.

Please vote on the poll. The question means, if there was a series with a match on the 9th and a match on the 12th, and a series with a match on the 11th, should I play the 9-12 series straight through or play 9 - 11 - 12.

Now, to the first part of my story!

Shoaib Malik
Taufeeq Umar
Abdul Razzaq

Here is the team, with Shivnarine Chanderpaul as captain.

Chris Gayle
Dwayne Smith
Ramnaresh Sarwan
Shivnarine Chanderpaul*
Ryan Hinds
Ricardo Powell
Ridley Jacobs+
Ian Bradshaw
Ravi Rampaul
Corey Collymore
Pedro Collins

There are all lot of allrounders taking part in the series, and thus a lot of fill in overs will be bowled by them, so we should see drama everywhere.

I will be playing as Pakistan for this series.

I am sure it will be a great one. Pakistan is very strong and will be very hard for west indies.

very interesting concept for the series. my bet is on the pakistanis without lara playing for the windies

Now let's go down to the pitch with our local expert, Ryan Patterson.

Thank you, studio.

We have a traditional West Indian pitch here, viewers, it will be lots of swing and seam, not easy for the batsmen, however if they can bat well early on, there should be little for the spinners.

So, Yousuf Youhana has won the toss, and has predictably decided to bowl first.

Shoaib Akhtar is at the top of his run-up, Chris Gayle is on strike and here comes the Express! He runs down and he's into his bowling action...

A couple of tips. If you set this up as a Champions Trophy match, you'll get the correct bats. You can also get the correct kits for unlicensed mode from the downloads section.
Interesting concept though...

THE WORLD

West Indies start off well, but Pakistan are not yet out of it Chris Gayle, Dwayne Smith and Ramnaresh Sarwan have hit the total along to 119-1 after 25 overs.

The game had started with a tight over from Shoaib, just one off it, but then came the Pakistani crash, as 19 runs were pillaged of the Mohammad Sami over, including this 4 from Chris Gayle, it had got the West Indian wheels well and truly rolling

Sami later came back for a second spell, and was punished again, with the first 6 of the match coming, Dwayne Smith using his power.

Soon after that, Smith brought up his 50, a huge innings for the team, which had included 9 peircing 4's and 2 huge 6's. It had taken him an hour and 19 minutes, and it had given West Indies the upper hand.

But it wasn't to last, and a great slower ball from Razzaq, which despite being slower, lifted a bit, and dismissed Smith, knocking back his off pole, and leaving Smith shellshocked.

The match is now interestingly balanced, as a few quick wickets could swing the match towards Pakistan, while if Gayle goes onto get a century, West Indies will be in command, so stay tuned for the final 25 overs of the West Indian innings.

Razzaq is going back to his bowling mark, and Gayle and Sarwan are just about to go back to their positions.

This is gonna be a cracker, folks!

this is a good start by the windies, pakistan need to get another 2 # wickets to even things

Pakistani player, and he's captaining them this series because Inzamam is away at the SuperSeries.

He's being facetious. Youhana converted to Islam and has a new name.

Meh, I'll just called him Yousuf Youhana, cuz BLIC calls him that, and I'll get confused otherwise :p

Maybe I'll edit his name after this match.

You need to install some kits and bats after this game too...
