The next series for the Aussies are a two match test series against Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan’s are coming down under after a great world cup tour by making the final but losing to the Aussies in the controversial match. Australia will be playing without a legend, Glenn McGrath after his retirement.

Vodafone has won the rights to be sponsors for this test series. The other competitors were 3 mobile, puma, McDonalds and EA Sports.

Cricket T.V

Today a new broadcasting station for the cricket has been announced, Cricket T.V. This channel will have some players who have just retired for the commentary such as McGrath, Warne, Langer, Lara.

Australia Squad
Hayden
Klinger
Jaques
Ponting (c)
Hussey
Hodge
Clarke
Hilfenhaus
Watson
Symonds
Gilchrist (VC) (WK)
Haddin (WK)
Hogg
Cullen
Lee
Clark
Bracken
Johnson
Gillespie
Tait

It’s a different looking squad a bit compared to the Ashes one. Hilfenhaus has been called up after a superb domestic season and might get a go. Kinger is also in the squad after Langer retiring. Dizzy’s been re-called into the squad. Australia lack batters at the moment but still have a strong batting line-up.

Sri Lanka Squad
Jayasuriya (VC)
Tharanga
Vandort
Sangakkara (WK)
Attapatu
M.Jayawardene (C)
Dilshan
Arnold
Kapungedera
Mubarak
Silva
P.Jayawardene (WK)
Maharoof
Vaas
Bandara
Zoysa
Fernando
Kulasecara
Malinga
Muralitharan

No surprises in the squad. A good strong side.

Thanks Whitehornmatt for making the cricket T.V logo and also making the overlay. Also thanks to Hooper who will replace Griffo as the commentator.
