THE SPIN SHOW


England came out after tea hoping for a great session form there bowlers. Panersar and pieterson contuied to bowl well and were really frustrating the Pakistan bowlers with there spinners.

khan was realy having a hard time trying to pick the ball coming out of Panersars hand and was bowled bye him the ball crashing into off stump england started the session great Pakistan were 4-229, England starting to get on top.

England contuined to bowl well espicially pieterson who was really impressing Collingwood with his bowling. Pieterson then picked up the very important wicket of razzaq for 1 caught hoggard at silly mid an easy catch for him Pakistan in real trouble at 5-230

Panesar and Pieterson were giving a rest for a couple of overs until england decided to bring panersar back into the attack. The whole session was England. Pakistan couldnt get going and were really on the back foot.

Panesar pciked up another wicket getting Akmal out for 5 caught in the covers by Strauss England in a strong postion going into day 2 Pakistan 6/255after 77 overs.


Monty very happy



Pakistan end the day 6-268 England will be hoping to clean up the tail order quickly and get into bat before the second session.

the spinners are certainly bowling well good use of bowlers to giving the full timers breaks

DAY 2 SESSION 1


PANESAR GETS 5


Pakistan came out to bat in day two with 350 in mind. The target was always possible with Ul-Haq at the crease. Flintoff and Mahmood opened the bowling in the first session of the day and were really getting frustrated from the Pakistan batters.
Mahmood not happy




Ul-haq contiued to attack hitting 9 fours and 5 sixes until his innings fell bowled panesar for 88 Panesar had now got 4 wickets and really improved his bowling thru the innings




The next wicket that fell was Anjum on 18 caught in the covers bye Mahmood of the bowling of Hoggard. Hoggard has bowl well thru the innings and really deserved the wicket.




The next wicket was Rehman and it was a great catch from bell Of the bowling of Panesar. Panesar has got 5 wickets now and defintly was the man of the innings.



The next wicket Umar Gul came out and didnt last long and was ran out Pakistan all out for 351 a great competive score for England.

great batting by pakistan.. how come you havent selected shoaib akhtar, mohammad asif, danish kaneria, misbah ul haq in the pakistan line up?

So, Inzi rescued! If he had got out soon.. it would be something less than 300.. This is clearly making a huge difference. lets see how it goes on from here.

Why did Plunkett only get three overs? He only conceded 7 runs in those three overs.
